Aussi, une travers\u00e9e s\u00fbre, tout au long de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, sur un pont en arc de pierre constitue l\u2019un des fondements du d\u00e9veloppement durable.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"section--article-content\">\n    <div class=\"container grid grid-cols-12\">\n        <div class=\"col-span-12 col-start-1 md:col-span-8 md:col-start-3\">\n            <div class=\"awe-item awe-text awe-section-3810-3-0-1-0-text \">\n<p>La croissance et la dispersion de la population en Tanzanie mettent \u00e0 rude \u00e9preuve les infrastructures de mobilit\u00e9. Malheureusement, le gouvernement national a du mal \u00e0 faire face \u00e0 l\u2019augmentation rapide de la demande et les projets d\u2019infrastructure indispensables faisant appel \u00e0 des techniques conventionnelles, comme l\u2019acier et le b\u00e9ton arm\u00e9, s\u2019av\u00e8rent souvent tr\u00e8s co\u00fbteux.<\/p>\n<p>La technologie \u00e9prouv\u00e9e des ponts en arc de pierre, par contre, permet une approche d\u00e9centralis\u00e9e int\u00e9gr\u00e9e aux structures des gouvernements locaux. Avec le pont, il y a enfin un moyen s\u00fbr d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 notre village et de transporter nos produits vers d\u2019autres march\u00e9s.\u00a0\u00bb<br \/>\nMagdalena Leonard Kagege &#8211; Maire de Nyabigufa<\/span><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Les techniques de construction de ponts les plus couramment utilis\u00e9es sont celles \u00e0 base de b\u00e9ton ou d\u2019acier, qui n\u00e9cessitent un apport important de mat\u00e9riaux industriels et une faible quantit\u00e9 de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre. Or, dans les zones rurales de Tanzanie, l\u2019utilisation de mat\u00e9riaux industriels est tr\u00e8s co\u00fbteuse, alors que la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre est bon march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>La technique de l\u2019arc de pierre capitalise cette situation en recourant \u00e0 des mat\u00e9riaux locaux ais\u00e9ment disponibles, tels que des pierres, du sable et de l\u2019eau pour pr\u00e9parer le mortier, et du bois, et ce, dans un processus \u00e0 forte intensit\u00e9 de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre. Cela se traduit en moyenne par une r\u00e9duction de 80 \u00e0 85 % des co\u00fbts de construction, ainsi que par une r\u00e9duction de 50 \u00e0 80 % des \u00e9missions de carbone gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation moindre de ciment et d\u2019acier d\u2019armature par rapport aux techniques de construction traditionnelles.<\/p>\n<p>Les ponts en ma\u00e7onnerie \u00e9vitent \u00e9galement certains des inconv\u00e9nients des solutions conventionnelles, comme l\u2019utilisation de ponceaux en acier ou en b\u00e9ton. Ces derniers se brisent non seulement souvent sur les mauvaises routes lors de leur transport depuis les centres industriels, mais, du fait de leur poids relativement faible, ils risquent \u00e9galement d\u2019\u00eatre emport\u00e9s par les eaux lors d\u2019inondations. Qui plus est, de tels \u00e9l\u00e9ments pr\u00e9fabriqu\u00e9s sont parfois vol\u00e9s : les gens les d\u00e9terrent et essaient de les revendre pour gagner un peu d\u2019argent.<\/p>\n<p>Les ponts en arc de pierre sont construits depuis plus de 2.000 ans et certaines des premi\u00e8res structures sont m\u00eame encore utilis\u00e9es aujourd\u2019hui. Le pont Fabricius \u00e0 Rome, par exemple, comporte deux arches de 24 m chacune et a \u00e9t\u00e9 achev\u00e9 il y a plus de 2000 ans. La conception et l\u2019ex\u00e9cution reposent toutes deux sur des r\u00e8gles empiriques simples qui ont fait leurs preuves au fil du temps. Outre les avantages en termes de co\u00fbts, cette approche permet de cr\u00e9er un sentiment d\u2019appropriation, de renforcer les capacit\u00e9s et d\u2019autonomiser le leadership local.<\/p>\n<p>Si le budget annuel moyen de TARURA permet de financer 1 pont en b\u00e9ton par le biais d\u2019une proc\u00e9dure d\u2019appel d\u2019offres public, ce m\u00eame budget peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour en financer 5 en arc de pierre via un appel d\u2019offres public, voire 10 si la communaut\u00e9 locale est mise \u00e0 contribution.<\/p>\n<p>Si le village participe en fournissant les pierres, le sable, l\u2019eau et le bois, sa contribution la plus importante est n\u00e9anmoins la mise \u00e0 disposition de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre occasionnelle. Elle a ainsi d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 promue par le directeur national de TARURA et trois ponts en arc sont actuellement en cours de construction sans le soutien d\u2019Enabel et en dehors de notre zone d\u2019intervention, qui se limite actuellement \u00e0 la r\u00e9gion nord-est de Kigoma. Dans la r\u00e9gion de Kigoma, TARURA a \u00e9galement commenc\u00e9 la construction de 2 ponts en arc de pierre en dehors du projet d\u2019Enabel.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"awe-item awe-header awe-section-1158-4-0-0-0-header \" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"text-primary-500\">Le projet en quelques chiffres<\/span><\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>La Tanzanie compte quelque 55 millions d\u2019habitant\u00b7es et conna\u00eet un taux de croissance annuel de 3 %.<\/li>\n<li>La construction des ponts a commenc\u00e9 en 2018.<\/li>\n<li>Objectif pour 2022 : 70 ponts achev\u00e9s<\/li>\n<li>Les port\u00e9es des ponts vont de 1,1 \u00e0 31 m<\/li>\n<li>Les budgets des ponts vont de 2.400 EUR \u00e0 35.500 EUR.
